Dearly loved father of Melanie, Michelle, Sarah and Philip. Proud grandfather of Victoria, Emma, Rhys, Katie, Emily, Edward and Henry. Michael was a real gentleman. Always welcoming and friendly with an amazing memory for names and faces. He was a longstanding member of Emmanuel Church and served on the leadership team as Church warden and Treasurer. He always brightened up the company he was keeping with a joke or two to break down barriers and to put visitors at ease. A man of faith who expressed his Christianity both formally and practically. He will be greatly missed by the congregation of Emmanuel.
