GeoffreyPARKINSONGeoff sadly passed away peacefully on 11th December 2020, aged 76 years. A dear husband, dad, and grandad, Geoff will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. There are too many lifetime achievements to mention, but Pam, his wife, has been overwhelmed by the love and support afforded to her since her beloved Geoff passed away. Geoff's funeral service will be held on 7th January 2021 at Lichfield & District Crematorium, Fradley at 11.30am, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Lichfield Methodist Church, Tamworth Street at 12.15pm. Due to the current Government guidelines, the service is invitation only. Anyone wishing to view the Service of Thanksgiving live should please contact the funeral director for further details. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Geoff can be made payable to St Giles Hospice, Whittington through the online announcement. Fond memories of our times together, planning good things for the local community, and the times we spent putting these plans into action - especially through Lichfield Late Night Listeners, which has just celebrated its tenth anniversary. Geoff had a real passion for community action, and his organisational skills, combined with the unique welcome he offered to those who supported his initiatives, combined to really make things happen. We will miss him greatly!
