I had the privilege of knowing Ray for nearly 40 years he was the father-in-law that everyone wished for, kind thoughtful, generous and fun and I can say he was like a second father to me.
Nothing was too much trouble for him with his words of wisdom.
We would sit around share stories and jokes, and he always listened and took a real interest in everything I had to say, even when I mentioned Norwich City.
I thank him for everything he has brought into my life his children Julie, Andrew and my wife Jayne.
I send you all my love, you'll always be in my thoughts
