After a lovely ceremony, Mahendra was cremated at Bentley Crematorium, Brentwood on Thursday 2nd March 2023. Mahendra lived in Old Moulsham, Chelmsford for over 35 years and was the proud and passionate business owner of Moulsham News in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford with his cherished wife Shaku Patel, his younger brother Raju, and sister in-law Dipti. Everyone who knew him will know that he was at his happiest when serving and helping customers. A pillar of the local community. Mahendra is survived by all of his family, including his treasured wife, loving sons and daughter-in-laws, his younger brother and sister-in-law, adored nieces, and his beloved grandchildren. Mahendra's greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud, strong, courageous, resilient, devoted, and caring family man, with an incredibly hard-working attitude. A real inspiration to everyone who knew him. All of his family and friends will miss him dearly, feeling truly blessed by his presence.
