Jennifer AlisonPATERSONJenny passed away peacefully on 30 July, aged 81, at Westmill Care Home, Ware, following a brave battle with dementia and cancer.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, especially her daughter Louise and husband Dave; her son David John and wife Fiona; and her two granddaughters, Sophia and Bella.
Many will remember Jenny and her husband Dave as the landlords of The Saracens Head in Ware and The North Star in Welwyn during the 1980s, and later The Jolly Farmers in Enfield during the 1990s. Jenny also enjoyed a successful career as a chef at The Robin Hood on The Ridgeway, Enfield, and The Sun in Hoddesdon. She retired in 2015 at the age of 71 and spent her later years at Bircherley Court, Hertford.
Following a private cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at:
The Tack Room, Westmill Farm Ware, SG12 0ES
Saturday 10 October at 1:00 pm.
All friends of Jenny are warmly welcome to attend.
Please do not wear black. Jenny's family would love guests to embrace a sunflower theme or wear bright colours in celebration of her life.
