ReayPEARMANPassed away peacefully at home on Monday 12th May 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Reay aged 83 years of Clayton, much loved and devoted husband to Janet, loving dad to Andrew and Kathryn, dear father-in-law to Wayne, treasured grandad to Jordan and Thomas and a cherished great grandad to Mollie, Alfie and Noah.

Reay will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

Service to take place on Wednesday 4th June at Bradwell Crematorium Chapel at 10.40am followed by interment at Newcastle Cemetery. Will relatives please accept this intimation and friends kindly meet at the Chapel

Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of Reay to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice at Home.

My late wife and I got to know Reay and Janet through a railway based holiday in Switzerland in 2007, since when we remained good friends. He was one of a kind, a gracious pal and a true gentleman. RIP dear friend.

Ray was my shift Sargent at the Hanley police station around 1974/75 what a mentor he was for me an amazing role model please accept my condolences
