GwendolinePERRYof Baxenden, passed away peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on January 12, age 83 following a short illness.

A loving wife of the late Adrian, loving mum to Neil and Simon, and very proud grandma to Carl, Shannon, Niamh, Sinead, Imogen and Natasha.

Gwen’s funeral will be held at St John’s, Baxenden on Monday, February 3, at 10.45am, followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium.

so sad to read that Gwen had passed away ,my thoughts are with all the family. I went to St James primary and then to Secondary modern with Gwen, we were also married on the same day 22ndSeptember 1962. We have kept in touch and had many conversations over the years, I will miss Gwen she was always optimistic whatever the situation. I am sending my condolences to all the family and friends. We are so terribly sorry to see that Gwen has passed away. She was my mums next door neighbor for many years and such a lovely lady. We saw her last August, and are thankful that we got to visit. Karenne and Todd Wyant (in America).
