I've known Simon since I was a baby and we were good friends from day one. My earliest memory of Simon is of him sitting down with my Mum and Grandma over a cup of tea while I sellotaped his glasses case shut, I could tell he had a sense of humour.  Simon was always good company and up for a laugh. Simon was such a supportive friend, he was there for all the ups and downs that we went through. I miss him very much. Rest in peace Simon, God bless.

I first met Simon when I was a child and he was working with my mum at the Seabathing Hospital. I then met him again few years later when I worked there as well. When the Seabathing closed and we all got shipped over to Margate hospital I used to see him a lot there too. He always stopped and had a little chat with me, always so kind and polite, a lovely lovely person and an outstanding nurse.
RIP Simon, you will be sadly missed.

I also first met Simon when I worked at the Royal Seabathing Hospital and I don't think I ever remember him not smiling!
It was a privilege to get to know him and his family. He had a heart of gold, always a positive outlook on life and would help anyone. He will be so sorely missed.
Rest in peace now Simon. Thank you for the memories and for making the world a better place xx.

I first met Simon at the Royal Seabathing Hospital back in the nineteen eighties. He was one of the happiest people I think I ever had the pleasure to meet. I’ll always remember how much he loved playing Babminton with his friend John Desouza. When we all moved to Margate Hospital we continued to bump into each other and he always had a kind word whatever the situation. What a true gentleman sadly missed.

My mother was a ward sister and had the pleasure of Simon as a member of her staff. He was one of her favourite nurses. I qualified as a nurse in 1986 and had the pleasure of Simon's vast knowledge then. Although retired in recent years we occasionally bumped into each other and shared memories. Rest in peace Simon - and thank you for being an outstanding nurse, and valued friend!
