Rest in peace Kevin, so much missed.

You were an especially good friend to me, and I will count myself forever fortunate to have been one of your very many friends.

What an exceptionally great character you were, such a loss.

My dear dear friend. We have known each other for nearly 30 years. First meeting on our daily commute to Bristol. I think our fellow travellers loved listening to our conversations as everyone used to go very quiet! We were the source of entertainment each morning!

I will miss our birthday and Christmas lunches over a lovely bottle of wine, sharing our highs and our lows in life. The tears we shared together during the tough times of our lives but most of all I will miss your sense of humour and the laughter we shared together!

I am so glad I convinced you to retire early, albeit very short. Words cannot express how your passing over has effected me, I will so miss you much.

My dear friend you have left a deep hole in my heart, words cannot express how much I will miss you. We talked about old age, our aches and pains, technology, politics and so much more. RIP my dear friend. I will miss you so much, our phone calls, your snippets in the post, your funny postcards and birthday cards, the info re gardening and the Financial Times updates.

I will miss you so much. Lots of love Steed from your Miss Peel, Elaine

My Dearest Friend of more than 30 years,
For all those cultural outings to National Trust properties and singing along to Louis Armstrong in the car on the way home, the laughs over the long lunches and putting the world to rights, the mutual support through the good times and the tough times, the research visits for the new purchases and the deep quiet conversations about life - and death, and those times you helped me keep things in perspective.
You'd had second thoughts about retiring early, but I'm so glad that you did - it gave you 16 months to do as you pleased. There's so much more to say. I will miss you so much. Love you C x
