His research and development projects for people with learning disabilities in the 1970s are part of today's care programmes. His final request was to convey his appreciation to the Health Authorities Senior Administrative and Nursing Managers during his tenure at Bryn-y-Neuadd Hospital for their unflinching support regarding his projects. He was a loyal professional colleague, my best friend and brother in arms. His credo was the classical Parthian shot. Sadly missed, never forgotten.
