MaxPRICEMax Price, of Waterfoot, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 11, surrounded by his family. Max and his late wife Maureen moved to Rossendale in 1988 from Birmingham. Together they ran M & M General Store and off licence in Newchurch until 2016 when they retired. Max and Maureen both loved the Rossendale Valley and decided to remain following their retirement. Max was a lifelong Aston Villa supporter. He enjoyed spending time with his family not just here in Lancashire but regularly visiting family in London and Birmingham. He leaves his daughters Jackie, Mandy and Karen, son Max and sons-in-law Cameron and Steve. He also leaves nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be on Friday, March 25 at Accrington Crematorium at 1pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Rossendale Hospice please. Lovely memories of Max and Maureen, the way he always greeted me with” your alright Babs”. Sorry I could not attend his final journey.
The shop was never the same after you left. Rest in peace with Maureen Max, your work here on earth is done. Sending love to all the family xxxx
