Peacefully in hospital on 27th July 2026, aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Much-loved Dad of Helen and Jane, dear father-in-law to Stephen and Mark, devoted Grandad to Rebecca, Kieran, Christopher and Amie, and treasured Great Grandad to Frankie, Luca and Finley.

Friends and family are invited to a Service to Celebrate Alan's Life at Tynemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 12.00 noon, followed by refreshments at Percy Park Rugby Club.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA). A collection will be available at the service and afterwards or donations can be made via app.collectionpot.com/pot/3536851

Forever loved and sadly missed.
