Herbert TimothyQUALLINGTONTim passed away peacefully on 17th April, aged 84 years. Much loved husband of Jean, dear father of three and grandfather of six. Donations in aid of St Nicolas Church (cheques payable to Cranleigh PCC) or the Bible Society may be sent c/o Woodford Family Funeral Service, Dobbe House, Ewhurst Road, Cranleigh GU6 7AA. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at a later date.

Tim was our wedding photographer at St Nicolas’ Church in November 1988 and at our wedding reception at what is now called the Cranleigh Golf and Country Club. In more recent times when unexpectedly meeting him in the village, he’d be ready with a warm, friendly smile, a twinkling eye and say that he was sorry but I’d have to remind him how I knew him. Always dapper, preferring to wear a neckerchief than a tie and with the exquisite manners of a true gentleman. Our sympathies go to Jean and family.
