RuthQUINN(née Wilson) (Gateshead, formerly of Newcastle) Passed away peacefully on 9th May 2025, in Alexandra House Care Home, surrounded by her loving family, aged 83 years, Ruth.

Devoted Wife of the late Bobby, dearly loved Mam of Arthur and Angela, special Mother-in-law of Margaret and Ken, treasured Nanna of Samantha, Molly and Annabel. Ruth was also a dear Great Nana and Friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Funeral service to take place at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 28th May, at 11am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds being divided between The Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be available at the Crematorium.

Ruth's personal request is for bright colours to be worn please, and for everyone to enjoy themselves in her memory.

I am so sorry to hear that Ruth has fallen asleep. I know she will be sadly missed by her family and those who knew her well. I met Ruth through Tony Quinn and his mother Pauline. What a lovely lady Ruth was, her memory will live on. . My deepest sympathy goes to everyone left behind. Take comfort in the fact you will all meet again. Kind wishes Julie Craig

To auntie Ruth I have lots of fond memories from being a little boy our holidays in the caravans as family’s mingled together to the later years with my kids Ross and Megan going to Turkey as a big family gang and listening to dad and uncle Bobby having a whinge and you putting him in his place knew u were the boss lol. Well we will all miss u auntie Ruth a really beautiful person and miss to the world xxxx nephew Tony
