Happy wedding anniversary Mum and Dave. 26 years today X

All I have to say is that I love you grandad. I know that you know that and I know that you loved me. Love is a very powerful and beautiful thing and I will forever be grateful that you were my grandad. We have beautiful memories and that I have your golden cup sitting on my bookshelf to remind me of you every single day. I have a big family and friends around me, who are more than happy for me to sit and chat about you with them. As you know, kindness and love in this world is my motto and all I have to say is that I love you grandad. Rest easy and think of all the happy times 💙 xxx

So today we said our final goodbyes to you Dave. We scattered your ashes at your favourite place where you and Jan loved to fish in your favourite angling spot on the river bank. It was a beautiful sunny day and a very poignant moment. I know you would be proud Dave of the way mum has handled herself and kept her composure and dignity throughout what has been a very trying time. It was a quiet and intimate moment with the people who loved you and were with you throughout the best parts of your life and not just when you were poorly and at your worst. Lots of happy memories. What a beautiful evening Uncle Dave, me and Tom had a game of musical chairs trying to organise the tables so everyone had a seat lol you would of been laughing but we got there in the end you will never be forgotten we all kept in touch and all make the effort as true family is what matters wish u was here love your naughtiest niece hahaha sleep tight xx
