"Bench by the Sea"

A quiet path where silence speaks,
Along the cliffs, the ocean peaks.
The waves below, a lullaby,
That hums to hearts who say goodbye.

The bench awaits with arms outstretched,
Where once we paused, where time was etched.
I feel your voice upon the breeze,
It dances soft through the trees.

You loved this view, this sky so wide,
The ancient rock, the rising tide.
Your laughter lingers in the air,
Like sunlight caught in silver hair.

The boats drift slow in solemn grace,
Each one a prayer in water's embrace.
And I sit still, yet not alone—
This place has now become your own.

For every time I seek the shore,
I find you here, and something more—
A peace that comes from knowing you
Are part of sea, of sky, of view.

So let the winds around me fly,
Let cliffs stand tall against the sky.
Your love is carved in stone and foam—
This bench by the sea, your quiet home.
