Very much loved and respected Father of Bill, Liz, Isabel, Peter and Sam and Father-in-law to Penny, Peter Carroll, Jeremy Pedrick, Emma and Christina. Horticulturist, Woodworker and steam train photographer. Chair and Treasurer of the Cranleigh Model Engineering Society. Our grateful thanks to Cedar Court Care Home for their care of Dad and for their valued support at this sad time. Donations please to Parkinsons.org.uk. Funeral to be announced.

Just to make genealogists aware, Dad knew there was another Geoffrey Fitzwalter Read living in the Colwyn Bay Area of North Wales. Once discovered, they met and worked out how they were directly related. Dad was born 17/09/1930 and died 22/04/2022. ‘Welsh’ GFR was born 1922 and died about 2020.
