Leighton WilliamREAKESWith great sorrow that we announce the passing of Leighton William Reakes ("Lennie"), cherished father to Ann and Jane, beloved grandpa to Menna, and devoted husband to Lynfa. Lennie died peacefully on Tuesday, 15th October 2024, at the age of 92 in the care of Pen-Y-Bont Nursing Home, Abertillery.

Lennie was the life and soul of every gathering, and his vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Lennie and his beloved wife Lynfa will be interred together at Gelligaer Cemetery, to be reunited with their treasured sons, Corwyn and Kerrie.

They remain forever in our hearts.

Lovely memories growing up. Uncle Leighton was always telling jokes and making us laugh, a brilliant comedian. I still remember your appearance on opportunity knocks on TV and often use one of the jokes. You would often visit my mother Betty and the wider family in Gelligaer. Rest in peace x
