I had the pleasure of his company on two memorible occasions back around 1980 both on the tennis court where I watched him play tennis for RNH Stonehouse against the arch rival RNH Haslar and with his help and a deft backhand drop volley sealed the match, The other time was later that evening when we celebrated our win with the Interport Tennis Torphy and medal. Not just a fine doctor but a good tennis player

I worked with Adrian in Casualty at RNH Haslar, way back in the day. He'd worked in Southampton with a few of my A&E nursing colleagues and was very well thought of there, as well. Sorry, belatedly, to hear of your loss.

I was so sad to read this today. He was such a compassionate, empathic, doctor. You always felt heard and respected, he was there to serve you, he was humble but very experienced. He clearly gave his life to medicine. A very rare find.

A lovely man and brilliant GP. Was taken too soon. I will never forget his prompt attention when I suffered a back injury.

You sure embraced life Dr R
You led the way you shining star
You chased your dreams
You touched the moon
You filled our lives
You went too soon
It’s such a shock
To lose you doc

It was an honour for us to be your office manager/practice Manager. Together, there was lots of laughter and banter, the sharing of grief, tears and secrets. You took the care of your patients very seriously. Adrian, you were an amazing doctor, boss and friend and changed so many lives for the better. The impression you had on both of us will last forever.
RIP
Teresa and Sue
