The obituary notice of Robert Michael (Rob) REYNOLDS

All our family are absolutely devastated at the loss Rob. Rob was such an amazing and supportive friend to us all and we loved him very very dearly. I miss him wandering into No5, kicking his crocs off and giving everyone the hugest of hugs before settling down to a brew, a good chin wag and insulting us all like crazy. I miss our lengthy whatsapp chats full of insults and banter and the very occasional serious point to be made, all wrapped up in stealy charm, acerbic wit and good humour. I miss having him over for supper at ours with Constance and chatting the evening away about everything and nothing. I just miss him being there to chat whenever I needed an ear or wanted to chew a tricky dilemma over, or just be insulted or have a laugh with someone. I just miss him.

Rob , sadly missing you. You were my legal advisor, you taught me how to cook nutritious dishes, you cooked for me on my birthday in January, you gave me accommodation for free at your house, you helped me in processing my UK Visa and you made my life easy. I greatly miss you.😢😢.

Rob, you will be very sadly missed by Mary and me. We had such wonderful trips to the theatre and to sports together and we will really miss your company. I will really miss you dropping in to help me with the crossword and watching the footie with me. All your help over Covid lockdown and beyond and all your cooking exploits were very much appreciated. Your company and friendship is irreplaceable.

TBH I still can't believe the force that is Rob has gone.
His enthusiasm for cooking and experimenting with new recipes was legendary. His " supper club" was great fun, especially being directed to help! It is so sad that he never got to use his pink and grey front room.
He gave the best hugs ever, and made super coffee...though that took ages!
He will be much missed and I m sorry that I m unable to be at the crem.
