Douglas JohnRICHARDSPassed away peacefully in his sleep at Bryn Ivor Lodge on Monday 13th July aged 93 years. Doug was much loved and will be greatly missed in the Marshfield and Castleton community which was his home for 91 of his 93 years as well as by his two sisters Mary and Ruth, his nephews Michael, David and Richard and their respective families. He will also be missed by the congregations of St. Mary's and St. Bridget's having been closely involved in church life and a choir member for 85 years. Resting in the Funeral Home of Tovey Bros. Newport until the Funeral Service in St. Mary the Virgin Church, Marshfield on Tuesday 18th August followed by Cremation at Thornhill Crematorium. Due to the current circumstances regretfully attendance will be by invitation only. The family hope, at a later date, to hold a Service of Thanksgiving for Doug's life that more friends and family can attend.
