PatriciaRICHARDSIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia on Sunday, March 16, aged 87 years.
Wife of the late Ken, daughter of Sharon and the late Nigel, mother-in-law to Chris, grandma to Andrew and partner Sammy, great grandma to Faye, Phoebe and Emie, sister to Melvyn and the late Bernard and sister-in-law to the late Mavis, auntie and a great friend to many.
Pat enjoyed many hobbies during her life including teaching yoga, dying wool, spinning the wool and knitting garments from it, along with sewing.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for Hyndburn Council and helped organise many events including the Christmas lights switch-on, pantomimes and various shows. She will be sadly missed by all.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 17, at Accrington Crematorium at 1.40pm.
The family have requested family flowers only, donations are being received to the Alzheimer’s Society.
