DorisRILEYof Eastwood Crescent, Cloughfold, died at The Laurels on Tuesday, December 29, aged 94. She was a retired slipper operative, working at Green Bridge, and enjoyed ballroom dancing. Wife of the late Leslie, she leaves daughter Lynne and son Carl, daughter-in-law Elaine, grandchildren Scarlet, Christopher, Louise, Matthew, and Daniel, three great-grandchildren Edie-Alice, Florence, and Louie, niece Barbara, niece Sheila and befriender Gillian. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 8, at 12.15pm at Burnley Crematorium, led by Rev David Burrow. Donations if desired to Marie Curie or Rossendale Hospice.
