JozsefRINGLMR Joe Ringl, also known to his friends and family as Flicking Joe, of Barker Court, Bacup passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, surrounded by his loving family at the Laurels Nursing Home in Bacup, aged 81. Joe had various jobs throughout his life, from working in a scrap yard at Alfie Kymes in Stacksteads to being a mechanic at K.Steels in Rawtenstall. One of Joe's hobbies was to play darts and dominoes in local pubs such as The Travellers Rest and The Wellington. He will be deeply missed by his wife Phylis, children Joe, Julie, Graham and the late Elaine, Carol, Gary, all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Laurels Nursing Home for looking after Joe and everything they did for him. His funeral took place on Thursday, March 19, at 10am at Knight and Boys Funeral Home Chapel in Stacksteads then onto Burnley Crematorium at 10.40am for cremation. The family would prefer donations to the Laurels Nursing Home and the Alzheimer's Society, which can be given at the service or forwarded to the funeral directors. Anyone who would like to attend to say their goodbyes is more than welcome. Funeral director: Knight & Boys Funeral Service.
