Lesley JuneROBBINS(nee Haliburton) 1946 to 2021 Following a hard-fought battle with cancer, Lesley died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, during the evening of Thursday 1st April 2021 - she even chose the date to make us smile! A loving wife, mum, nana, sister-in-law, aunty and dear friend. Lesley's spirit lives on through Brian, Nicola, Samson, Clara and Amy-Jasmine. Known by many through her work at St Edwards Middle School between 1982 and 2007. With sincere thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Leek Health Centre, R.S.U.H. Cancer Ward, the dedicated team of District Nurses and the 'Dougie Mac' Nurses. Not forgetting the boundless support of friends and family that kept her going despite 'lockdown'. Donations if wished at any time to Cancer Research UK and The Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Funeral details, as allowed by Covid restrictions, to be announced at a later date. Inquiries to:- David H. Smith Funeral Directors, Fountain House, 17/21 Fountain Street, Leek. Tel. (01538) 399661. www.davidhsmith.co.uk
