Remembering Ian, as one of my bosses, who I worked for and with for many years at Crutes, solicitors. Happy times. One particular memory travelling to London and spending four days in the Royal Courts of Justice on a civil case.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I worked with Ian for a few years in the late 1990's at Crutes and he was a lovely man and a great boss. He had a great and lasting impact on me.
He would sit down with me every week for a cup of tea to have a chat about non work things, which is something I really appreciated and later in my career, did this with my own staff. Some of the stories he told were fantastic with the added bonus of the relevant accents, that he could do perfectly. I also vividly remember his travel diaries that he used to write and still have one for the USA somewhere, in fact it inspired me to visit the USA myself, it was that well written.
Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family.
