Shelagh MaryROCHFORD, passed away peacefully at 85 years of age.
..........
My mum was one of a kind with verve, a razor-sharp wit, immense charm and charisma. To her family Shelagh was a devoted partner to the late David Malins; an amazing mother of four: Georgina, Deirdre, Etain and Nicholas, the beloved sister of three Michael, Philip (late) and Lawrence as well as a beloved aunt and sister-in-law. Not to mention a much-loved Granny Chicken Legs to some and Shelagh Shenanigans to others. Shelagh was also an entertainer and did so with her stories, her letter writing and her singing - for she loved to sing.
..........
She will be very much missed by her family and all who knew and were entertained by her. A funeral celebrating Shelagh's life will be held at St Anthony's of Padua Church on Tuesday, 14 May at 1.45pm, followed by a committal at Springwood Cemetery at 3pm. Formal attire, with a splash of pink or gold, suggested be worn in honour of Shelagh's colourful personality.
..........
The Family would like to give a special thank you to Dr Momoh and all the staff at the Royal Liverpool Hospital who cared for mum so beautifully in her final days. No flowers, by request, instead donation if so wished made payable to the British Red Cross. Charity No 220949
