I spent half my childhood and teens at Kitchener Avenue and Wrights Tree Villa, I don’t have one negative memory of you Eileen. Always a cup of coffee, always a slice of ‘All Butter Madeira’ always the offer of a meal at mealtimes, always a tale of a drama or a funny story.

M&S should be closed for the day such has been your devotion to the brand.

My heart goes out to Paula,and her entire family. I have many fond memories of this beautiful special lady. Her infectious laughter, sense of humour, amazing ability to show strength, resilience, positivity and optimism regardless of what life put before her. She made everyone welcome in her home, and genuinely cared about everyone who was privileged to have known her.
I've never met anyone who truly believed marks and Spencers egg were laid from posh hens !! She told me that once with such conviction I really believed her.
The last time I saw her, she shouted after me
"Get behind that counter where you belong"
Refering to my days in cosmetics! I loved nothing more than giving her a bag of samples to take home, for her to rummage through.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, never forgotten, her laughter, funny stories will be with us all always .

Beautiful Eileen, always smiling, loving, kind and so, so funny! Whenever my Mum wasn’t home we would run round to the Ryan’s house and she would be there with Eileen putting the world to right and having a chat and a laugh over a cuppa. Lovely happy memories. RIP Eileen xxxx
