JoanSCALLYJoan peacefully passed away in her sleep on Monday 9th December 2024 at Rowan Court Care Home, Silverdale. Joan aged 88 years of Newcastle now reunited with her beloved husband Henry, the dearly loved mum of Malcolm and Mark, a dear mother in law to Denise and Helen also a much loved and treasured Nan to Stephanie, Georgina and Daniel and cousin to Ian.

Joan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Funeral service to take place at St. Giles Church, Newcastle on Monday 6th January 2025 at 11:30am prior to interment at Newcastle Cemetery.

Will relatives please accept this intimation and would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church

Family flowers only please, donations would be preferred in memory of Joan to the Douglas MacMillan Hospice. A donation box will be available at the Church.

im so sorry to hear about joan , she was a lovely lady ,
my mum and dad knew joan a long time , (jim, hilda meakin )
joan always spoke , and we had a chat when i used to see her , walking up /down orme road .
she will be sadly missed by everyone who new her ,
she will be reunited with henry now .RIP
