SCOBBIEIt is with great sadness that the family of JOYCE (Henderson) have to announce that on 20th July, 2008, at St. Andrew's Hospice, Airdrie, after a brave battle to fight pancreatic cancer, JOYCE passed away peacefully. JOYCE was wife, mother and best friend to Duncan and Lynne, loving devoted daughter to John and May and big sister to Sandy. JOYCE also gave her friendship and love to many, which enhanced their lives. The family send their heartfelt thanks to all doctors, nurses and staff at St. Andrew's Hospice, The Dalziel Centre, Motherwell, Macmillan and District Nurses and all at Burnbank Medical Centre. A funeral service and cremation will be held at High Blantyre Old Parish Church and South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 10am and 11am respectively on Friday 25th July, 2008. All who knew JOYCE will be made welcome. As an alternative to flowers the family request a donation be made to St. Andrew's Hospice, Airdrie, in the name of JOYCE.
