ThomasSCOTTTommy Passed away on 18th August 1990, aged 78 years, Tommy beloved husband of Kathleen, loving father of Peter and Anthony, father-in-law of Helena and Pauline, much loved grandad of Adam and Michael, great-grandad of Yves. Born in 1912, Tommy was the only child of Thomas Leithead Scott and Jane Amelia Cooke of Washington, Tyne and Wear. Pre-war, Tommy's working life began as an accountant's clerk. During WW2, he served as a sergeant in the 23rd Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry Home Guard. Tommy married Kathleen and settled with his family at Whitley Lodge. He worked as a financial director at Jackson the Tailor in Newcastle-upon-Tyne until taking early retirement in around 1972. Tommy was fond of automobiles, motorcycles and sport. Amid retirement he enjoyed watching motorsport on the television and was devoted to his Lhasa Apsos, Sookie and Tigger.
