ElizabethSEGRAVEPassed away peacefully in hospital on 3rd July 2023 with her family and friends around her. Funeral Mass on Friday 28th July 2023 at SS Peter & Paul's Church, Crosby at 1.00pm. Committal at Thornton Crematorium at 2.15pm. Liz had a wonderful life and was much loved. Beloved partner of Derek. Liz will be sadly missed by all who knew her. RIP Family flowers only. Liz was a one off. A real star! Caring & fun to be with. She rang my Mum, Mollie Freeman, EVERY week at her Care Home &, even when Mum couldn't really remember who people were, Liz always managed to cheer her up & make her feel valued. I shall always be grateful for that.

My Dad David Donnelly was Liz’s cousin and she was the closest thing I had to an Aunt. She was a great role model for me as a young independently minded woman as well as a caring and kind thoughtful person. I’m glad to have been related to her and send all my love to Derek who will miss her most.

I am so sorry to hear of this. I have known Liz since 1978 and she crossed the pond to see me several times. I had hoped I would get over to see her again before we meet merrily in Heaven.
