NedSHARKEYof Haslingden, passed away at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on May 30, aged 74.
Ned is now reunited with his beloved ma and da, sisters and brothers.
He leaves behind his three broken-hearted children Kristy, Laura and Edward and their
partners Patrick, Danny and Kylie. Eight grandchildren: Olivia, Ava, Will, Amelia, Joseph, Aria, Sophia and Jude.
He also leaves his four brothers and three sisters.
Ned was a well respected popular man of the Haslingden community and he will be sadly missed.
From Saturday, June 7, Ned will be resting at 1 Union Street, Haslingden, BB4 5QD, his family home for many years.
Family and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects.
Ned’s funeral will be held at St Mary’s RC Church, Bury Road, Haslingden,
on Tuesday, June 10 at 11.30am.
Ned requests that he is the first in to church, followed by his family and then his friends.
Following the service, there will be a horsedrawn procession to Haslingden Cemetery.
Donations in Ned’s memory are welcomed for Dementia UK.
