DavidSHEAPeacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dave on Saturday 2nd October. Beloved husband of Joan. Much loved Dad of Mandy, Phillip, Jenny, Cathrine and Daniel and a dear father-in-law. Adored Grandad to Luke Erin & Hollie, Isabella & Jacob, Oskar & Rosie, Nancy & George. Sleep Tight, we will miss you always Funeral service to be held at St Gabriel's RC Church, Ormesby on Thursday 14th October at 12pm followed by cremation at Kirkleatham Crematorium. All welcome Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Macmillan Cancer Support. Huge thank you to Dr Corbett and team at Park Lane Surgery, Stillington and Mags at Macmillan for their guidance and compassion throughout. All enquiries to Joel D. Dave Shea ...a mountain of a man in heart and soul ...what can I say ..he was a real joker but could sense if someone was a bit more timid than most and help them feel settled !
He was the life and soul of his household, worked hard for the family and partied well.
You could not meet him and not get to like him ...well that's what I felt ...I'm sure a long line of people behind me would agree .
Gone but not forgotten..your music,singing and humour will continue.

What can you say about Dave that hasn’t already been said? Such a nice, kind, funny, welcoming bloke. Always a pleasure to be near. We are so so sorry for this massive loss to the whole Shea can. Thinking of all of you, from Andy, Julie, Nicolaas, Ben, Jed & Molly x
