Bob sadly passed away on Friday 21st March 2025 after a short illness. Both Bob and his late wife Rosemary were well know figures in the Newquay community after working in Lipton’s / LoCost in Newquay Town Centre, where he was a butcher. In later years Bob work for Edcumbe bakery and Barnecutts.
Having moved from Essex in the 70s, he loved Newquay and called it home for over nearly 50 years.
He will be sadly missed by friends and family including nephew Andrew, who bought up from the age of 10, daughter in law, grand and great grandchildren.
The family would also like to thank all the staff at Honiton Manor Nursing Home who cared for him his the last few weeks
His funeral is to be held at Penmount Crematorium on Wednesday 16th April 2025 at 12.00noon.
