Leonard JosephSINGLETON(Chester le Street) Passed away after a short illness on 5th August aged 79 years. A much loved dad to Andrew, Nick, Richard and Amy, grandad to Katie, Thomas, Sam, Zack, Molly and Owen, and a friend to many. Len was happiest in the company of family and friends, he enjoyed socialising and reminiscing about his time playing the keys in the nightclubs of the swinging 60's, he was well known through his long career in the motor trade as the owner of Bede Motor Company in Hebburn. Service will be held on 27th August at St Cuthbert's RC Church, Ropery Lane, Chester le Street at 2.30pm, all welcome to share memories of his life afterwards at the Chester le Street Cricket Club. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Society.
