I only knew Bryan for 7 months but he told me so much about his life and that he had wrote a book to which I bought and read. Bryan had a great life and missed his wife terrible but was so proud of his girls and spoke very highly of both of them and his grandchildren. I will miss our chats Bryan rest in peace.

I ordered one of the books he had published on Crewe Works for my brother, and because i live towards Whitchurch i asked for the book to be delivered to my son address in Wistaston. John delivered the book personally which was amazing. I served my apprenticeship in Crewe Works and the men took great pride in their work and their town. That's why Crewe was a better place to live when the railways works open.
