Elizabeth (Betty)SMITH(Westerhope) Formerly of West Denton Peacefully on Wednesday 24th July 2024 after a short illness but a very brave fight against cancer aged 83 years Elizabeth (Betty) nee Boyd, Daughter of the late John and Lizzie, Beloved Wife of the late Arthur, Devoted Mam of Darren and Gary, Mother in law of Elaine and Lesley, Doting Grandmother of Jack, Alex, William, Robbie and Annabelle, Loving Sister of Lilian, Jennifer and the late Rose, Joan, John and Sid, Sister in law of John, Anne, David, Raymond, Freda and the late Harry, Eddie, Alan and Molly, Darling Auntie of all her Nieces and Nephews. There was never a more precious Mam, kind, loving, generous, mild mannered and always there for us all, she will stay in our hearts forever until we meet again. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service and cremation at the West Road Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday 14th August at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, Donations if so desired to Cancer Research, All welcome afterwards for refreshments to Benwell Hill Cricket Club, Denton Bank, NE15 7EU, to continue the celebration of Betty's life. Our hearts are truly broken, God bless her.
