John ThomasSPENCERJohn Spencer, of Lancaster Avenue, Accrington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, aged 66 years.
During his life John worked at Vogue Electrics for 31 years, where he gained the nickname “Washerman John”. In his spare time, he loved going out with his friends, socialising in the pubs, especially in Oswaldtwistle and Accrington and also played pool for various pub teams. He enjoyed going on holidays to Blackpool, as well as making pies for family and friends. He sadly leaves behind his much-loved daughters Louise, Kylie and Nicola, his partner Elaine, his dear brothers James, David and Norman and sisters Christine and Brenda. John will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. A celebration of life service will take place at 3pm, on Wednesday, June 25, at Accrington Crematorium.
