STOKES DOUGLASMy father died peacefully at home on 12th December, approaching his 93rd birthday. He was manager of the Mount Pleasant Branch of the Midland bank and then at Tonbridge branch until his retirement in 1982 and will be remembered fondly by many. He was also on the committee at Nevill Golf Club which he enjoyed greatly. A funeral service will be held at St Thomas A Becket Church, Widcombe, Bath, BA2 6AZ at 12noon on Thursday 22nd December.
