Charles MichaelSULLIVANSunrise 12th November 1944 Sunset 7th May 2026 Aged 81 Years.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Charles Michael Sullivan, affectionately known as 'Charlie' and to many simply as 'Uncle Charlie', has peacefully fallen asleep.

Charlie was the second youngest of nine siblings and a true Kirkdale legend, having spent his life in the community he loved so dearly. A proud traditional old school gentleman, Charlie's working life began as a docker before later working on the doors across Liverpool, where his larger than life character became known by so many.

A devoted and proud Evertonian, Charlie was equally proud of his Irish heritage and his Catholic faith. Every St Patrick's Day, Charlie could be seen marching with immense pride, Irish flag in hand, celebrating the heritage that meant so much to him.

Charlie had a wonderful way with people and was known for his humour, warmth and unmistakable charm. To the many ladies in his life, he affectionately referred to them as "Charlie's Angels", a nickname that perfectly captured his character. With extended family and friends far and wide, Charlie was deeply loved by so many.

Charlie's funeral service will take place on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 12:00 noon at St John's Church, Fountain Road, followed by interment at 2:00pm at Bootle Cemetery.

Charlie is resting in the care of Butterflies Rising Funeral Care 37-39 Mill Lane, Liverpool, L12 7HY before he goes home Friday 22nd May 2026
