SamSUTHERLAND - (INVERGORDON)Sam Sutherland passed away suddenly, at his home, Dubai on Monday 7th April 2025, aged 46 years. Dearly loved son of Gordon and Anne, loving brother of Jenna and cherished grandson of Jenny Cameron. He will be forever loved and missed by all his family and friends.

Private funeral service. For those wishing to pay their respects the funeral cortege will travel down Alness High Street at approximately 11.50 a.m. on Wednesday 30th April 2025.

A donation, if desired, can be made online, in Sam's memory, for The Highland Hospice, the family thank you for your kind donation.

What can I say, you always did find a way of making me a Glaswegian, lost for words and no more so than now.
We spent some of the greatest years together and had some amazing times which were the catalyst for choices that would ultimately define the paths our lives took with the most difficult being choosing the one that posed the risk you not being involved in my life as frequently was that New Year’s Eve in Thailand when we met Ronnie.

The easiest choice to make over the years was asking you to do me the honour of being Elisabeth’s godfather and life being as cruel and in-just as it can be has stolen those moments that you always think there will be a tomorrow for. The moments had are remembered and like myself she will know that the initial S in Sam stands for everything that is Special.
Make sure you do the reckon for the best place up there for a night out and I’ll make sure my shirt is ironed and ready to go.
