I had the pleasure of knowing Eileen for over 30 years and I have to say that she was the most living and selfless person I had the pleasure to know. She would do anything for anyone. I will remember the many hours we spent on the phone discussing her latest home decor or putting the work right. I have to thank her for her wonderful family of Dave, Shirley and Peter (who I never got to meet) and two amazing grandchildren who she thought the world of. I have so many great memories of her such as her chasing Dave down the road with her slipper (thank goodness she never caught him) and the frog in the garden of Homes Chapel Road (sorry Eileen) when I see a frog I always think of you. She was an amazing grandma to Brad and George and was a rock when it came to looking after them, doing the washing up with Brad and hearing him say stink (hope this makes some of you smile ..sorry Brad) and many cuddles from Grannyma for George. My thoughts are with Dave and Shirley at this sad time but there is comfort knowing that she will be reunited with the love of her life George who will greet her with open arms and she will say you daft bugxxx. I am gutted that she is no longer with us but feel so lucky to treasure the many memories I have of a fantastic mother-in-Law and later a friend. She was always there for me and I loved her to bits, she will forever be in my heart and I have to say that the world would be a better place if some people were only half of what Eileen and George were. I will forever miss her calls and times spent with her. Rest in peace Eileen, love Sue.
