Keith was my piano teacher at Bretton Hall (1979-1982) . An inspirational teacher and musician. As a piano teacher myself I have often used his ideas and really valued his approach . Only just recently I wrote him a letter after he retired from Huddersfield Choral ( having not been in touch for 40 plus years ). So glad to have had that contact before he sadly passed away
Thank you Keith .
Rest in peace 💕

I was so fortunate to have Keith as my piano teacher at Bretton Hall (1982-1986). He gave me confidence to perform and his lessons were a joy. Now as a piano teacher myself I think of Keith often and am so grateful to him for his kind, thoughtful and committed teaching. A true inspiration and a gentleman. He will be greatly missed.

I was one of Keith's first piano pupils when I was six years old. He wrote pieces of music for me to learn, which are still part of my music collection.
He was very patient and encouraging, and gave me my lifelong enoyment of music.
He was a wonderful gentleman.

I have known Keith since I was a small child. He lived opposite us in Butterley Lane, New Mill. He was a Groomsman at my parents’ Wedding as I think Keith was my Mum’s half cousin. I was fortunate in having him as my Music Teacher as a child. He was very patient and encouraging. I have seen Keith over the years mostly doing his shopping and more recently at a local garden centre.
Such a lovely person, RIP Keith.

I was fortunate to have Keith as my piano tutor at Bretton Hall from 1971-74. A brilliant pianist and musical communicator he brought out the best in me and his friendship over the last 50 years will be sorely missed. RIP Keith.

Keith was a wonderful teacher, an inspiration and a real gentleman. I was incredibly lucky to have him as my piano tutor at Breton Hall (1997-1991) and have kept in touch since then. My late husband, Malcolm Goldring, worked with Keith on many occasions and always said what a very fine musician and lovely human being he was - SO talented but also so humble, kind and sincere.
I am very sad that Keith is no longer with us but remember him with love, gratitude and respect.
