Norman GeorgeTAYLORIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman George Taylor.

Norman was a man full of humour, always ready with a joke, a funny story, or the latest meme to make people laugh. He brought warmth and laughter to those around him and will be remembered for his quick wit and kind heart.

He had a great passion for golf and was an avid supporter of Swansea City A.F.C., rarely missing the chance to follow his beloved Swans.

Norman was a loving husband to the late Gillian Taylor and, in later years, Pamela. He leaves behind his children Marc, Matthew, Rachel and Rebecca, as well as his foster children Sarah, Gilly and Andrew, all of whom he loved dearly.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His laughter, humour, and love will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Norman's funeral service will be held on;
Thursday 4th June, 2026.
2:00pm.
Ty-Hedd Funeral Home
Graham J Sullivan Funeral Directors.

Followed by a celebration of his life at The Welcome Inn, SA5 7HT, where family and friends are warmly invited to share memories and raise a glass in his honour.

Flowers welcome, please send to Graham J Sullivan Funeral Directors, on day of the funeral service.

I met and knew Norman through Pamela and her family. At every gathering he always had a joke or funny story to tell. Never shy of joining in with fancy dress and always welcoming and friendly to all. He will leave a huge gap in the lives of those who loved him. Loving thoughts to all of his family and friends. Sarah & Chris Powell

Uncle Norman was my dad’s youngest brother, and definitely one of the characters in the family. He had a sharp sense of humour and was always ready with a joke or a bit of mischief. You never quite knew what he was going to say next.

Like a lot of families, things weren’t always straightforward, and he and my dad didn’t always see eye to eye over the years. But underneath all of that, he was still my uncle, still part of the family story, and someone I’ll always remember.

I’ll remember his humour, his personality, and the way he could make people laugh. Thinking of him and everyone who loved him. Rest in peace, Norman ❤️❤️

Norman....you were mum's rock and my saviour. I will be forever truly grateful for everything you have done for us. Nothing was too much trouble and you were one of life's gems, a rare gift of yours. I also thank you for your kindness and support you have given to me, your thoughtfulness and your sense of humour which was much needed at times. You were always so strong and I'm so very sorry your life was taken away from you far too soon. You will always be missed and cherished. By the way Nigel has finished the decking and I know we had planned to christen it with you but we will have a toast to you and remember you with very fond and happy memories. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Melanie.
