THOMAS CBE, GCStJ, DL David Hugh Peacefully at his home with his family on 8th March 2025, David Hugh Thomas aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Beryl, much loved father of Nia and father in law of Sam, cherished grandfather of Tom and Will. Public Service in Tabernacl Chapel, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 12:00 pm on Friday 4th April 2025 and at Coychurch Crematorium at 1:15pm. RIP Hugh - my sympathies reach out to your dear wife Beryl and your family. Our paths crossed many times in Health and Local Government and it was a pleasure engaging with you in our different roles. I’m privileged to have known Hugh through the a Welsh Livery Company and Cardiff & County Club. A real gentleman with loyalty, commitment and public service at his core. The world will miss him.
