James "Alan"THOMPSONTHOMPSON James "Alan" Passed away peacefully at home on 16th March 2024.

Born 8th May 1936 to James Adam and Violet, older brother to Derek. Beloved husband to Pamela, incredible father to Mark, Adrian and Ashlie and affectionately known as "Funny Grandad" to Jordan, Lexy, Lara, Hamish, Denny, James and Sophie.

A service to celebrate his life will take place on Friday 12th April 2024 at St Bartholomew's Church (Church Point), Newbiggin-by-the-Sea at 1:00pm.

Alan's wish is for bright colours to be worn to the service.

Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made in Alan's name to the Limbless Association.

My good friend, Alan. We have had loads
of fun together, particularly around the snooker table and we achieved some amazing opportunities for the kids of Newbiggin by the Sea.
