Big Brother to Red Leader! Big Brother to Red Leader! ( That was how we addressed each other and it was very endearing and after all these years I have never forgotten it.)

Just heard the sad news of Gary's passing and an further saddened to have missed his funeral by a day.

Caroline, it was my immense pleasure to have been managed by Gary at Thomson Local. He was a gentle kind soul in a horrible place and he made it bearable. He was a great trainer and had honesty and integrity.

We lost touch and I tried to make contact once or twice to reminisce but realised I had to respect his privacy and desire to look forward not backwards. Have not seen him in over 25 years but still thought of him as a friend. I notice he has had 1324 visitors and that is great testimony to his likeability. When it is my turn to go I will be pleased looking down to reach double figures!

Never met you but he mentioned you and the children often and you were all his number one priority. He was a great provider.
