When I think back and remember the times when I was young visiting John and Barbara with Mum and Dad the memories of my Uncle John are filled with warmth and smiles that I can still feel today.

Even though my family and I cannot be there to give you our love in person, our thoughts and love are with you all. Please accept our sincerest condolences.

Warm love Paul, Michelle, Skye, Capri and Chase

Brother John will always be fondly remembered by Mike and wife Betty, although he was 10 years older we spent a few years working together at Priestmans, not to mention grass track racing around South Holderness before I emigrated to Australia. It was always good to come back to England and see John and my other brother Peter and their families. Regrettably we won’t be attending the funeral as long distance travel is no longer easy. Our condolences to the direct family members, Sister in Law Barbara, nieces Liz and Julie, we send our love. Not to forget Jim, Ged, Paul and Grace.
Love Mike and Betty.

Too young for a drink in '82 at Burton Constable Hall, on our last day out before leaving for Australia, with Uncle John and Aunty Barbara. Fortunate to spend the afternoon with family last May 2024, and have a lovely chat, share a drink and laugh with Uncle John.
I will always remember him fondly, a kind and gentle giant, with a wicked cackle and a sparkle in his eye.
Vale, Uncle John
Much love, Caroline & Craig
