ReeceTROUPReece Troup, my only son, brother to Sinead, Jake, Kyle, Chloe, Lucy, Lauren and Olivia, died peacefully after a cardiac arrest at Addenbrookes hospital.

Reece was an amazing big brother to his little sisters Lauren and Olivia and especially treated Olivia with so much love and comfort to her. His presence is sorely missed by us all.

Reece was my only son and I miss him so deeply. His passing was handled by Addenbrookes with such respect. It was Reece’s wishes that he donated his organs. Sadly he wasn’t able to do this. But I did attempt to honour his wishes.

I would like to thank the efforts of his post man Laurence, a first responder Callum and the efforts of the east Anglian air ambulance service. Without the help they gave Reece, we wouldn’t have been able to say goodbye in the way we did.

It was an honour to be there at the end of Reece’s life the way I was at the beginning, ensuring he had a smooth transition over into his eternal sleep.

My heart is broken in many pieces, a part of me died that day when he passed over. He did so with such beauty.

Eternally in my thoughts, my heart and my children’s hearts for life.

Hi it’s Reece’s mum, I appreciate over the coming weeks to months there will be people this reaches who were unaware that Reece has passed away. As such we wanted to extend the opportunity to watch Reece’s funeral service online. Should you wish to do this please email me on suzanna.grange@gmail.com to obtain the obitus login details for this. Many thanks

I was so saddened to learn about Reece’s passing.
I was a TA in his class at Rees Thomas School and for one year at Castle.
Reece was such a pleasure to work with during this time, and I was so delighted when he moved on to mainstream education.
So many memories 🥰 but I particularly remember the time we went on a trip to London to see The Lion King when we were at Rees Thomas, and despite the long delay on the journey back, Reece handled it all so well.
I’m sending my love and healing to all of Reece’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time 💜

I’m so sorry to learn this… and I’m equally sorry to find this out after his funeral has already taken place, I would’ve loved to have attended.

I supported Reece when I worked in The Cabin at CVC… I was his TA for science throughout his Year 11. I always struggled with science, so helping him with the tasks was a challenge for me… but he would always say, “Don’t worry Sir, I’ve got this… I know what I’m doing… you’re just here to support my social and emotional needs”. Haha. He was always so much fun - I loved my lessons with Reece and am so sad to hear of his passing.

Love to all, especially to Reece.
